It was born at a threshold—
a remembering of self after seasons of over-giving,
a return to sovereignty lived in relationship with the Divine.

It is an offering for anyone learning to walk with Spirit
while remaining rooted in their own body, desire, and truth.

Winter asks us not to fix,
but to be.
Not to know,
but to stay.

This New Year, I chose not to rush forward.
I chose to stay—
to listen to the whispers of my body and soul,
to honor winter as a season of rest and remembering,
and to trust that what is meant to emerge
will do so in its own time.

This reflection is an invitation
to remain with the dark, the not-yet, the quiet—
and discover that it is not empty,

This past year — or perhaps longer — I stepped away from social media because my life needed my full presence, not the performance of presence. See, I could have still shown up online but it wouldn’t have been genuine nor would it have been enjoyable. It would have been a mask, a pretending, a performance.

My soul pulled me into the quiet depths. Living in the mountains will do that to you.
